Visiting a new place can be overwhelming, but we’re here to help. Whether you’re exploring your faith for the first time or are a church-going regular, we can’t wait to meet you and show you around.
So, here's something you might like to know...if you decided to visit Grace Bible Church this Sunday morning, what would that look like? Where would you park? What would you wear? Here are a few details to help ease you into life at GBC.
Before the service, if thinking about what you should wear. Just come as you are. You will find people in everything from shorts to suits; jeans to dresses.
Driving in to the church parking lot, we have reserved, especially for you, parking spots adjacent to Guth Road. Look for the green signs with the GBC Logo, and "Reserved for Visitors" printed on them.
"Greeters will be at the door to welcome you and guide your family to the appropriate areas based on the ministries you’d like to participate in at GBC."
During the service you’ll find a variety of different styles of music, hear the occasional joke, and maybe even see a fun experiment or demonstration. We've even been known to have live interviews with our missionaries or other special guests from around the world, from time-to-time. The service typically lasts about an hour or so, and you’re certain to head out feeling energized, challenged, and inspired.
You’ll always hear from God’s Word about how He is present in our everyday lives. We help you to see that the Bible is all we need to answer the most important questions life has to offer. We hope you’ll sing along, laugh at the jokes, and learn something that encourages you in your walk with the Lord for the rest of the week
If you arrive between 9:00 and 9:30 AM, you’ll find most of us gathered downstairs in the Fellowship Hall visiting and enjoying donuts and coffee. Sunday School begins at 9:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall and upstairs in the Timothy Room, and everyone is welcome to attend. If you come right at worship service time, around 10:30 AM, head upstairs to find everyone gathering in the sanctuary.
Depending on the time of the year, we have several types of adult classes to choose from including studies in books of the Bible; topical studies that will help you navigate through the world we live in; theological studies like Christianity 101 & 102, where you will learn the basics of the Christian faith and continuing on toward learning and understanding the doctrines of the Christian Church; and other repeating classes like baptism and membership instruction that prepare you for taking the next step in your faith.
One of the things that makes our church special is the wide variety of ages that worship together. If you have children three and under, they can go with you into the service, or be dropped off in the nursery. Kids three through fifth grade will start in the main service with everyone else, and then will be dismissed to go to Children’s Church when the sermon message starts.
So that you can enjoy fellowshipping before Sunday School services, the nursery, and Children's Sunday school volunteers, will be available to check your children in and keep them busy until you arrive to pick them up after the service. We have a very strict security policy for the safety of the children in our care. You can feel confident that your children are safe and in a caring environment while they learn about the God who made them.
